Wismar has been a Hanseatic town since 1229. The town is on the world's Heritage List of UNESCO. There is an important harbour, a modern ship yard, painstakingly restored houses from Hanseatic times as well as three tall Redbrick Gothic style churches. The right place for holidays and creativity.
